50 Cent was involved in a fight with another rapper in Nigeria over the weekend.
50 was taking part in the annual Star Mega Jam in Nigeria over the weekend, which sees the some of the games biggest names taking the spotlight along side popular Nigerian artists.
The trouble started aboard an airplane belonging to the Aviation Development Company at a Lagos, Nigeria airport. It is said that Nigerian rapper Eedris Abdulkareem tried to sit in a seat reserved for 50 on the plane, but was stopped by 50 entourage. Abdulkareem’s entourage then got involved and a fight broke out inside the plane.
The fighting continued onto the tarmac outside the plane.
“Although he is an American citizen, he came here under a private arrangement and it is not our business to ask him to go back. It is his decision," an Embassy official told Nigerian newspaper The Guardian. “The decision is up to 50 Cent's management team and his sponsors.”
