Raekwon Inks Deal With EMI To Release "Cuban Linx 2"
Wu-Tang's Raekwon has signed a new distribution deal with EMI Label Services for his ICE H2O label where the rapper will release his upcoming "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2" album this summer.
"It's been a long time coming. The wait is finally over," Raekwon said in a statement. "I've put my blood, sweat and tears into making this classic album for my fans. Words cannot describe how extremely happy I am to work with EMI Music to put out my album."
The first single from the album is the track "The New Wu" featuring Method Man and Ghostface Killah. "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2" will also feature Bun B, Busta Rhymes, Dr. Dre, J Dilla, Jadakiss, RZA, The Game and the rest of the Wu-Tang Clan.
Raekwon's previous album, 2003's "The Lex Diamond Story" has sold 134,000 copies in the United states.
